Get the ball in the hole. Thats it! BallMaze calls it a "target field," and youve got to slide the ball along the grid in as few moves as possible to end up sitting exactly on top of it. The ball will keep rolling until it hits either a colored block or a wall. You change the board configuration by selecting which colored blocks are activated at any one time.
The levels start out simple - you can walk your way through the basic concepts in a series of tutorials if you like - and range up to incredibly complex. The free "lite" version includes a generous 300 levels, all of which you may access whenever you like. If you toss a few bucks towards the paid version, youll have over 1100 awaiting your maneuvering moxie.
Optional for the competitive strategist is a connection with Google Play Games Services. Go head-to-head against a friend in a 1v1 Challenge mode that has you racing to solve five puzzles first, or compete with up to three others in 5 wins, where everyone plays the same board. These multiplayer boards are randomly generated, so theres no chance of wearing out the playing field.
The app design is smooth and simple, just like it should be. Youll be stumped over the puzzles themselves, not the app layout.
